When I was looking for a compressor for my service truck I needed something that would not let me down and last. The one I bought first is now six years old and still works like the day I bought it. I have since purchased 3 more. Some times its running most of the day other days it's running between 1-3 hrs. It runs my 1" impact with ease and obviously the smaller air tools as well. Key to longevity is the break-in required (follow the steps) and putting it on a maintenance schedule to change the engine and compressor oil's. Hope this helps
